The cache is the the Marshall Memorial Forest near two big old
oak trees that I have dubbed "King Oak" and "Queen Oak".
Official entrance to the Marshall Memorial Forest is at the end
of Gillian Drive. But much better parking (P1) can be found at the
Church on Highway 3 and another trail entrance (T1) is just a short
walk to the bushline at the back of the church lawn. There are
numerous paths and unmarked trails throughout the forest. To get to
the cache from the trail head, follow the foot trails avoiding the
ATV trails, as they can be very muddy. The trails have numerous
foot-bridges to assist you in crossing the swampy areas and ditches
that you will encounter. Cross with care.
The cache is a small lock and lock container. There's a toonie
in the cache so FTF can have a coffee on me as well as the "Big
Yellow Whale" travel bug to help get things started.
You will walk past GCZVB4 on your way this cache and, depending
on which route you follow, GC2QN0B "Grand Canyon". Be sure to get
them both while in the forest.
Oh yeah, - - - Bring BUG SPRAY! - - - And bring your own
PEN or PENCIL!
Congratulations to BFT6 and ldot for their FTF!
