Geocache Description:

The church is in a small village with easy parking.
Don’t forget to try the local super hostelry.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication

Permission by the vicar has been given to place this cache.

A film canister. Need to bring your own pen.
The church is old English circa 1150-1250 with extensions in the 14th, 15th and 19th centuries. There are three splendid bells in working order, cast in a foundry near York Minster in 1681, 1719 and 1742.
From the nave you can see the magnificent William Morris window (1856). There are two other windows of note. On the north wall is a royal insignia dated 1723 (George 1). On a wall on the left you will see a list of Rectors since the year 1248.
