Geocache Description:

To reach the rank of Eagle Scout, the scout must achieve 21 Merit Badges and complete an extensive service project that he must plan, organize, lead and manage. On average, each Scout conducts about 167 service hours towards the project.

An Eagle Scout from Troop 399 saw a need for some work at Lake Ridge Park. He coordinated a project and did the fundraising to add pine trees to block the wind, a grill, shrubbery, garbage can and a picnic table.

This is the sixth in a series highlighting Eagle Projects in the Crow River District. Each of the twelve "Cache to Eagle" series caches have a designated code word associated with the cache. The code word will be within the cache (such as written on the logbook or taped to the lid). The code word is one of the twelve points of the Scout Law.

The first 3 Scouts who find all twelve "Cache to Eagle" caches for the Crow River District, and emails a listing of all the codewords and associated Cache No's to me will receive a "Cache to Eagle" Scout patch.

CONGRATULATIONS TO RACETTES! THEY WERE THE FIRST TO COMPLETE THE SERIES AND WON THE CACHE TO EAGLE GEOCOIN
