Geocache Description:

This series is published to coincide with the Geocaching event at Croome Court over the weekend 19th-20th March 2011. There are seven in the series, the second one being quite large and containing several attractive 'goodies'.
Where possible, each cache contains a 'ponder' on a card - something to think about on your way to the next cache!
The series is a three mile easy walk.

There is space for a few cars near London Arch, which is the entrance to the apartments at Croome. There is a muddy
layby near a stile close to the Arch. The Arch is further along the road from the NT car park heading south(ish). If the NT car park is open use that and just walk back along to the Arch. Go over the stile where you find No1 a few yards
away, then head out towards No2 following the line of wonderful oak trees. Carry on to No3 which is near the 'carriage splash' as that bit of water is called. After No 3 head out through parkland (towards the farm) to no 3.5, then continue back towards the gardens for No4. After number 4 turn towards the church and go through a gate into parkland outside the gardens and follow the edge of the field/haha until you come to another gate on your left. Go through this into the gardens (at this point
it is public footpath), new wooden bridge, under the tunnel and then double back towards another gate which this time does have a footpath sign on it. Go through and head up towards the church, following the
right hand path where the buggy comes down to take people to the house which will now be on your right. You will find No 5 at the top of the rise. Then follow the path towards the church but turn right before it through a small iron gate, go through the church yard and head towards the road where you
will find No6.
The entire route is public footpath.

The first one is in view of London Arch, the entrance to the privately owned apartments. The name is because on the old coaching road this marked the way to London.
