The cache is located at the above co-ordinates, however, in
order to log this cache, you must successfully find and log at
least one cache per day for 100 consecutive days!
In order to show that you have completed 100 consecutive days of
caching, I would suggest you have your statistics page on your
profile activated. This will show the 'Longest Streak'. If you do
not have this, then GSAK statistics will have "most consecutive
days with finds" within it. Failing that, a bookmark with a list of
your 100 days. All forms of caches (traditionals, unknowns, multis,
earthcaches, wherigos, events, virtuals, webcams and letterbox
hybrids) can be used in this challenge.
I decided to set up this cache to mark my 200th consecutive day
of caching. The challenge, to cache every day in September, was set
by my daughter. However, I didn't seem to be able to stop, so just
carried on caching daily with Little QC in tow. Over the last 200
days I somehow managed to maintain at least one cache a day. The
car has been to the garage several times, the children have been
home sick from school, I got injured with a torn deltoid muscle,
we've had weekends abroad, the snow covered many caches and some
days, motivation was low.
I would like to thank Little QC for accompanying me to almost
every cache, to Big QC for setting the challenge and to Daddy QC
for putting up with my "just got to find one cache for today"
mutterings! I also need to thank my good friends Nadaj and AJ for
all their help and support; they have chauffeured me to caches,
supplied me with tea and cake and supported me greatly in this
challenge!
The cache is hidden in some lovely woods to the west of Newbury,
Berks. There is a trig point (TP6935) very close by to this cache.
The walk can be done with a good off-roading buggy. There are
finders cards in the cache box so please take one. There is also a
small digital photo frame for the FTF.
The difficulty and terrain rating reflects the challenges of
caching for 100 days non-stop.
Many congratulations to 'Jenandberry' on being FTF and also on
your 155 continuous days of caching!
Well done to the following cachers who have found this
cache...
Hellspaw with 164 days
TurnerTribe with 100 days
Mario McTavish with 801 days...and still going!
Heffalump007 with 146 days...and still going!
