This cache is placed in honor of Team Geofrog's 1000th find and their induction into the Golden Ammo Can Club (GACC). I've had the pleasure of caching with the whole team at one time or another.
When I saw they were approaching 1000 finds I prepared this cache; and then the snows came and came and came some more. The ammo can has been sitting under my desk for weeks now waiting for the snow to melt. I was finally able to get out today and hide it.
The cache is hidden a short distance from the Long Path. Most of the way is along a wide woods road, but the last hundred feet or so involve a bushwhack. You can try to bushwhack directly to it from the trail through the mountain laurel, but I found an easier way by following the trail south a few hundred feet and then heading up to the ridge.
The park is only open during daylight hours. There is an unactivated geocoin in the cache for the FTF.
