The Magritte Museum is a museum in Brussels, Belgium dedicated to the work of the Belgian surrealist artist, René Magritte. It is one of the constituent museums of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.
The Magritte Museum opened to the public on 30 May 2009 in Brussels. Housed in the five-level neo-classical Hotel Altenloh, on the Place Royale, it displays some 200 original Magritte paintings, drawings and sculptures including The Return, Scheherazade and The Empire of Lights. This multidisciplinary permanent installation is the biggest Magritte archive anywhere and most of the work is directly from the collection of the artist's widow, Georgette Magritte, and from Irene Hamoir Scutenaire, who was his primary collector. Additionally, the museum includes Magritte's experiments with photography from 1920 on and the short surrealist films he made from 1956 on.

Het Musée Magritte Museum (MMM) aan het Koningsplein in Brussel herbergt een kunstverzameling van meer dan 200 werken van de Belgische surrealist René Magritte. Deze grootste verzameling van Magrittes oeuvre is ondergebracht in de Koninklijke Musea voor Schone Kunsten van België te Brussel en kwam tot stand in samenwerking met de Magritte Stichting en met ondersteuning van SUEZ.
De Koninklijke Musea voor Schone Kunsten in Brussel bezitten met hun 200 stuks de rijkste Magritte-verzameling ter wereld. Deze kwam vooral tot stand door giften en legaten van familie en vrienden van de kunstenaar, vooral door het omvangrijke legaat van het schrijversechtpaar Louis Scutenaire en Irène Hamoir en van de weduwe Georgette Magritte. De collectie werd aangevuld met aankopen door de Koninklijke Musea voor Schone Kunsten van België, aangevuld met private bruiklenen.
De toegang van het museum is gesitueerd aan de Regentschapsstraat, een belangrijke verbinding tussen het Warandepark, via het Koningsplein naar het Justitiepaleis van Brussel.

Le musée Magritte est une section des musées royaux des beaux-arts de Belgique logée dans l'Hôtel du Lotto, un édifice qui fait partie du vaste ensemble architectural de style néo-classique de la place Royale de Bruxelles.
Le musée Magritte est implanté dans un ancien bâtiment de style néoclassique datant de la fin du XVIIIe siècle et faisant partie d’un ensemble architectural construit après l’incendie du palais du Coudenberg en 1731. Au cours des siècles, les propriétaires se sont succédé pour le transformer en hôtel, en bijouterie et enfin en musée.
Plus riche collection du monde consacrée à Magritte, elle comporte plus de 150 œuvres composées d'huiles sur toile, gouaches, dessins, sculptures et objets peints, ainsi que des affiches publicitaires, partitions de musique, photos vintage et films réalisés par l'artiste. Réparti sur trois étages, le musée propose un parcours chronologique et thématique de l'œuvre de Magritte qui débute au dernier étage avec sa période constructiviste et ses contacts avec le groupe 7 Arts, pour se terminer sur une dernière partie intitulée Le Domaine enchanté, consacrée aux recherches de Magritte sur la répétition ainsi qu'aux grandes images magrittiennes focalisées autour de L'Empire des lumières et du Domaine d'Arnheim.
