Pont Gavel ou Guaviel (gué vieux) à deux arches en ligne brisée en son milieu. Un éperon protège la pile centrale. Les arches sont d’inégale largeur.
Ce pont en prolongement de la porte de Saint-Etienne reliait Saint-Galmier à Chamboeuf , Saint-Bonnet-les-Oules, Saint-Etienne.
