Post Fire Update: due to the recent fire closure area, there is a new container and log hidden nearby. Check the additional waypoints.
Welcome to the Idaho version of "The Jasmer Challenge";
(inspired by the original challenge at GC1GBC1). To claim this cache you
must have logged at least one cache that was placed in every month
back to the start of Geocaching (May 2000).
The cache is not at the listed coordinates (check out additional waypoints), and you must complete the
criteria for this challenge in order to post a find on it. Logs
without supporting data for the find will be removed.
To claim credit for this challenge, you will need to post in your
log entry the GC codes, names, and date of find for caches that
were placed in 2000, 2001 and 2002. Of course, you have to have a
find for caches placed in all other months (up to and including the
current month) as well, but those tend to be easier to come by and
don't require as much verification.
You can also post a picture of the finds by placed month/year grid
generated by several utilities (an example picture of this is shown
below) such as www.mygeocachingprofile.com.
Below is my grid. I finished October 2011!
This is not meant to be an easy challenge, but it is one that can
be completed by cachers of all levels. All that is required is some
research (pocket queries to find specific caches, or viewing
bookmark lists), sense of adventure and a little bit of
perseverance.
The cache is an ammo can filled with goodies, and for the FTF
prize there is a 1 year paid premium membership gift certificate to
www.geocaching.com.
Enjoy!
