Ahoy Matey's and Landlubber's alike, welcome to Tinkers Creek Park, just off of East Idlewood Drive, a part of the Center Valley Park system, located in Twinsburg. This is the last known whereabouts of the elusive Twin Pirates Treasure Chest of Captains Aaron and Moses. Arghhhh yuns may have thunk this is just an old Mr. Fisherman's story but I'll wager 100 doubloons it's the honest truth it is. Back in 1719, one hundred years before the two captains descendant's made known the township of Twinsburg and even before the waters of Tinkers Creek was charted on the maps. These two squirrelly pirates navigated their ships from the Bahama Isles to hide their hearty plunder far away from the Bermuda's Royal Navy. Captains Aaron and Moses' treasure has not yet been seen in almost 300 years. Arghhhh, that's where yuns come in with yer trusty sextants or use of yer present day GPSters, whichever is the easiest for ye.

Fortunately for cacher's like yourselves in search for adventure, SWAG and gold, the first Stage of five coordinates are at the top of this page. Avast, the Twin Pirate Treasure Hunt is afoot, yuns may have to let the sands run a little more than once from ye hour glass. But first matey, it would be wise to follow the Tinkers Park rules, no rum and no treasure hunting at night or it's the brig for ye. Be careful near the creek with the little ones, we don't want anyone to get stuck, unless yer in need of a quick cleanin. Also beware during the rainy season, you may want to wait for the Tinkers Creek tide to run out, the trail can be mighty wet and slipperier than a mermaid's tail!

Do keep an eye out for them pesky muggles, ye wouldn't want any of the treasure stolen before yuns can find it. And if ye can, please try to keep all trade items pirate related! The SUPPLIES to bring are simple, just a feather quill (now ye call em writing sticks). And don't forget the "Clear Scotch Tape"! A few of inches will be good enough, the Twins trust yuns figure out what pieces needs a taping together once ye gets started.

Now be advised, the mosquitoes in them thar waters be as large as whales! So in the heat of the summer, bring yer harpoon or a barrel of buggy repellent. Now beware this be no ordinary treasure hunt, she covers about two miles of ankle twisting trails and a good amount of bushwackin, but she's worth a bag of gold!

Dock yer ships at the parking coords below but be wary during baseball season the port is stuffed to the gills it is. Start past the kiddies area down the Main Black Stone Path traveling South East to the Red and Black trail known as "Carapace Crossing", from here yer on your own. After Stages 1 and 2 you will return to the Main Black path as you find Stage 3. Stages 4 and to get to the Final Treasure, you'll just have a little a short distance.

Now fix your eyes closely on all the clues drawn on each piece of the map. You'll need to find one piece of the map at each of the first four stages. Arghhhh me buckoes, if you figure out the mysteries hidden within the treasure map they'll lead you right to the motherload of all pirate treasures!

PLEASE NOTE: THAT THE PARK HAS RE-OPENED THE BACK TRAIL OF TINKERS CREEK. BUT THE TWIN PIRATE'S WILL NOT HAVE ANYTHING IN THE BACK SO AFTER STAGE 1, FINDS THE YELLOW TRAIL ENTRANCE BY FACING THE CREEK AND GOING TO THE LEFT, FOLLOW THE RED/BLACK MARKERS AROUND THE CORNER (CURVING LEFT) TO THE BEGINNING OF THE YELLOW TRAIL TO GET YE TO STAGE 2.

FOR PIRATE SEASON 2019 THE YELLOW TRAIL BETWEEN STAGES 1 AND 2 HAS BEEN CLEARED OF FALLEN TREES. AND THE PIRATES LEFT THE THREE PURPLE BEEDS TO HELP YOU AS YE APPROACHES STAGE 2.

Pay extra attention at "Stage ONE" especially, there are many clues to write down on the 1st Map Piece from the "Block Puzzle" that will help yer at the other four stage locations. Also remember that for Stage 3 there is NO need to search under or around the stairs leading "up" to the Crows Nest. Nor searching under the structure neither! Just find the GZ on the port-side for Stage 3, before stepping onto the Crows Nest.

So in other words, read everything you can at all the stages during your hunt for the Twin Pirates Treasure. Before ye sets sail there's one last thing to remember. If you would kindly put all the stages back carefully the way you discovered them and do not remove or mix any of the stages. Please be sure that all lids and zip bags are sealed properly before advancing to the next stage. Stages 1-4 are not to have trade items left in them. And please take just ONE piece of the map from each stage if you are alone or with a group. You'll want to leave the rest for the next treasure seeker's hunting for the gold!

Don't forget to see other caches in this Tinkers Creek Park! May the sea winds and the treasure seeking spirits of Captain's Aaron and Moses be with ye! Yo Ho, Me Hearties, Happy Hunting!!
