[RO] Istoria localitatii Bran este strans legata de cea a Reginei Maria a Romaniei.
Regina Maria a fost supranumita de popor "Mama ranitilor", "Regina-soldat", pentru atitudinea ei brava din timpul Primului Razboi Mondial, cand, alaturi de doamnele de la curte a lucrat direct pe front in spitale de campanie si a coordonat activitatea unei fundatii de caritate.
In anul 1920, Consiliul Orasenesc Brasov a donat Castelul Bran reginei Maria a Romaniei, in semn de recunostinta fata de contributia sa la infaptuirea Marii Uniri de la 1 Decembrie 1918. Castelul Bran a devenit a doua resedinta a Reginei.
In anul 1933, cand Regina Maria isi intocmeste testamentul, ea cere ca dupa moartea ei inima sa ii fie depusa in micuta capela, Stella Maris, pe care o construise pe malul marii la Balcik.
Romania pierde Cadrilaterul in timpul celui de-al doilea razboi mondial, iar inima reginei Maria, aflata pana la acea data in Capela Stella Maris, a fost adusa la Castelul Bran si asezata intr-un spatiu special amenajat, sapat in stanca muntelui de langa castel. Principesa Ileana, fiica reginei, a ridicat pe un teren al castelului o micuta capela, "Inima Reginei", urmand intru totul scara si modelul celei din Balcic.
Pentru a gasi acest cache, vizitati mai intai capela "Inima Reginei", si numarati stalpii din zidul ce imprejmuieste capela. Acest numar este A.
Apoi mergeti la urmatorul punct de referinta la N 45° 30.851 E 025° 21.918, locul unde a fost depusa inima reginei. Cititi de pe placa anul cand inima Reginei Maria a fost depusa aici. B reprezinta ultimele doua cifre ale acestui an.
Cache-ul se afla la urmatoarele coordonate:

Longitudinea primului punct de referinta (E 025° 21.902) - B
Pe drumul spre cache veti trece pe langa o stanca din varful careia se poate admira una din cele mai frumoase privelisti cu Castelul Bran.
Cache-ul este o cutie de tip click-clack de 1.4 litri.
[EN] The history of Bran village is closely linked to that of Queen Maria of Romania.
Queen Mary has been called by the people "mother of the injured" and "Queen-Soldier" for her brave attitude during the First World War, when, with the ladies from the Court, worked in hospitals on the front and coordinated a charitable foundation.
In 1920, Brasov City Council donated the Bran Castle to Queen Maria of Romania, in gratitude for her contribution to the achievement of the Great Union of December 1, 1918. Bran Castle became the second residence of the Queen.
In 1933, when Queen Mary draws her will, she requested that her heart after her death be filed in the little chapel, Stella Maris, which she had built on the beach in Balchik.
Romania lost the Quadrilater during the Second World War, and the heart of Queen Mary, until that time located in Stella Maris Chapel, was brought to Bran Castle and placed in a specially arranged place in the stone mountain near the castle. Princess Ileana, daughter of the queen, built a small chapel, "Queen's Heart", on a plot of the castle, following the same scale and model of the chapel in Balchik.
To find this cache, please visit the "Queen's Heart" chapel first, and count the pillars of the wall surrounding the chapel. This number is A.
Then go to the next waypoint at N 45° 30.851 E 025° 21.918, where the queen's heart was placed. Read from the plaque the year when Queen Mary's heart was placed here. B is the last two digits of the year.

On the way to the cache you will pass near the top of a cliff from where you can admire one of the most beautiful views of Bran Castle.
