This brick building with a tall bell tower is part of the parish of Ifield, under St Margaret's Church.
St Alban's Church is situated in the heart of Gossops Green, adjacent to the local shopping parade, community centre and close to the primary school. The neighbourhood dates from 1958 and prior to the church being consecrated in 1962 people worshipped at house groups and then in the church hall.
Around 85 persons of all ages on average (65 - 70 communicants) attend Sunday Sung Mass each week.
The cache is a screw top bison tube and is located on the opposite side of the road to the church. Please make sure you are not being watched when retrieving/replacing the cache and that it is hidden from site when replaced.
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
