This cache is hidden in the village of Pero D’Elvas, located at a top of a small hill within the mountains of Serra do Caldeirão and close to Odeleite stream. It is just a ghost village now with only the building foundations remaining. Though the village is easily accessible by a 4WD or by car (in this case you should first check the road conditions), it is strongly recommended that you walk the 1 km from the nearest paved road.
