QR Code From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search QR Code for the URL of the English
Wikipedia Mobile main page. Note that the white border is part of
the encoding. A QR Code is a specific matrix barcode (or
two-dimensional code), readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and
camera phones. The code consists of black modules arranged in a
square pattern on a white background. The information encoded can
be text, URL or other data. Common in Japan, where it was created
by Toyota subsidiary Denso-Wave in 1994, the QR code is one of the
most popular types of two-dimensional barcodes. QR is the
abbreviation for Quick Response, as the creator intended the code
to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed. This is a new
way to receive information about different things.
I'm seeing more and more of this stuff everyday.
WP1 has a scanned image that you will need to use to find the
final.
There are 3 ways to find the final.
1. Use a smart phone
like Iphone. Download a QR Reader apps to your smart phone. Its
free. The QR Reader once scanned, it will bring you to the web site
with the final coordinates.
2. Use a friend's
smart phone. See number 1 for instructions.
3. Take a picture of
the image, bring it home, print it and veiw it using a web camera
with proper software installed on computer.
.
Please place the cache exactly as it was found so
others can enjoy finding it and bring your own writing tool. And be
careful. I don't want to read about anyone falling down into a tree
or something like that.
Thank You
