Geocache Description:

The Twin City CITO II will be a traditional Cache In Trash Out event. CITO Headquarters will be at the posted coordinates, the Lewiston Public Works Yard on Adams Ave. Attendees will collect trash from public lands located within the Twin Cities. Prizes and goodies will be given to all attendees.

This listing will be updated with more information about the CITO as it becomes available.

THE NEED:
There are presently more than 140 active geocaches within a 5 mile radius of the "Twin City CITO" Headquarters. Many of these caches are hidden in city owned parks and along trails systems that are located on public lands. Most of these caches have one thing in common...There is litter, trash, and improperly disposed of household junk nearby.

THE FORMAT:
* All participants will be asked to register at the CITO Headquarters.
* All participants will be registered in teams. Teams may consist of any number of people, but must consist of at least one. Teams of zero members will not collect very much trash.
* Participants will be allowed to CITO while caching within the local community.
* "CITO Hot Spots" will be identified at CITO Headquarters.
* Trash bags will be supplied.
* Participants will be asked to bring collected trash / junk to the CITO Headquarters.
* Participants who find items too big or heavy to be handled alone or too large to be carried in their vehicle, may call CITO Headquarters for assistance/pick-up.
* All participants should return to CITO Headquarters by 3:00 PM for final check-in and the closing assembly / awards presentation.

THE SCHEDULE:
Saturday - April 2nd
9:00 AM -Registration Opens
2:30 PM - Participants Begin Returning to Headquarters
3:00 PM - Final Trash Check-in
3:30 PM - Closing Assembly & Awards

THE GOODIES:

"The Most UNIQUE Piece Of Junk Turned In"

We are still trying to secure prizes and handouts. Any contributions would be gladly accepted. Anyone wishing to contribute should contact Luc Caron or Jeremy Bernier.

Team Norac's Luc Caron = CITO Co-Chairman

WHAT TO BRING:
* Other than your geocaching tools of the trade, you really do not have to bring anything with you, except for a hankering to do some serious CITO!
* The City of Lewiston will be supplying trash bags, gloves, and will be disposing of all the waste that is collected.
* There will be hot drink and bathroom facilities available at CITO Headquarters.
* Pickup trucks would be useful at some of the sites that are littered with large pieces of junk
