Located on the beautiful tropical island of Mabuiag Island within the remote Torres Strait region of Far Northern Queensland.
Formally known as Jervis Island, Mabuiag Island is located around 60 nautical miles north of Thursday Island. Access is by boat, fixed or rotary wing aeroplane. The cache is located at 18m above sea level, so climbing or hiking is not necessary. The terrain has paved/sand roads and buildings are near. The cache is a 500ml glass screw-top container. It is clear (apart from a logo and sticker) and has a brown lid. It is normally hidden under a large leaf to prevent unwanted notice. Wheelchair accessable to within 2m, but the last 2m may require help depending on season (grass height)
