Geocache Description:

"Go outside, get into nature and make your own discoveries!" That is what Dr. Scott challenges his viewers to do at the end of each Dinosaur Train episode.

See the trees located under the Billboard at the zoo's entrance. Be sure to park in the main zoo parking lot. Be careful crossing the zoo's driveway when you're on your way to find the Geocache (watch for cars). There are some orange wires bundled on the ground by another tree but won't be in the way of your exploration. They are currently not hooked up to anything and have no voltage. They are for an irrigation system and once they are in use they will be buried. Just a heads up.. don't touch them, just in case! Good luck!

This cache is part if a series of other geocaches. The Jim Henson Company has hidden Dinosaur Train themed geocaches nationwide with the help of local PBS stations. To find the location of other Dinosaur Train themed geocaches, simply search for "Dinosaur Train" in the Geocaching.com keyword search. Each geocache celebrates a dinosaur featured in the Dinosaur Train Field Guide

This is the Velociraptor geocache. The velociraptor was a small, feathered dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous. It has been found only in Asia and lived in desert habitats with sand dunes. What is your favorite dinosaur? Be sure to tell us when signing the logbook!
