Located just off the main road, there is a hidden building of the moat keepers' house. Surrounded by an ancient moat of the famous Toad Hall. The water can become deep in places, so as always be careful with your children. The GPS takes you roughly where the house can be found.
There is a short walk down a steep slope into an area that can be a beautiful scene in summer. There are sprouting flowers of vivid colours, as the moat keeper was an avid gardener. He kept his garden very tidy, but when he had to move house, the building became derelict and the garden was left unattended, even the trees started to look tyred. One tree whose branches droop low, has one large branch that almost droops to head height.
Please adopt the Trash and Cache scheme.
This Cache is part of Rusty's GeoPubcrawl. Please stop in at the Bolingey Inn after (or before) your visit for some lovely beeeeeeeer!
