Ferrière sur Sichon	la Grotte de Pierre Encize

Cette chapelle est édifiée par l’abbé Perrot, Pierre Encize de son nom de plume, au pied d’une barre rocheuse, véritable filon de quartz, perpendiculaire au Sichon.
La légende raconte qu’un jour, on ne sait trop pourquoi, les fées de chez nous résolurent d’inonder FERRIERES et CUSSET. Pour atteindre leur but, elle élevèrent un énorme barrage vers la chapelle de Pierre Encize et les eaux du Sichon, contrariées dans leur cours, formaient déjà le plus bel étang qu’on eût jamais vu. Le travail avançait toujours. Quand il fut terminé la plus jeune des fées s’écria : « Enfin, désormais, nous voilà sûres de la réussite. » - « Si Dieu le veut, répondit sa voisine » - « Que Dieu veuille ou non, répartit la première, je garantis le succès. » Au même instant le barrage creva et la méchante fée fut changée en serpent.

This chapel was built by Abbot Perrot, Pierre Encize his pen name, at the foot of a rocky ridge, a real vein of quartz perpendicular to Sichon.
The legend tells that one day, it is unclear why the fairies from us and resolved to flood FERRIERES and CUSSET. To reach their goal, they erected a huge dam to the chapel of Peter and the waters of Encize Sichon, thwarted in their course, were already the most beautiful lake we had ever seen. The work continued to advance.
