Városi állat-hösök 16.
Magyar:
Minden nép emléket állít kiemelkedö alakjainak, höseinek. Ez rendjén is van, de mivel érdemelhetnek ki szobrot állatok? Persze nem azokra gondolok, „akik“ munkájukat végzik, mint pl. a hátasló, vagy a Parlament kapuját örzö oroszlánok, hanem azokra a szerencsésekre, kik saját emlékmüvet kaptak. Mint tudjuk (?), a második világháborúban 54 állat kapott hösi tetteiért Dickin Medal-t, mely a Viktória Kereszt-tel egyenrangú brit katonai kitüntetés. Miért is ne állíthatnánk akkor szobrot is az arra érdemeseknek?
Közülük keresünk föl néhányat ebben a sorozatban. Ha úgy érzed, ide illö méltó szobrot találtál, kérlek, bátran folytasd a sorozatot!
Mackók a Medve utcában
Medve az iskola falán
A kedves kis medve a Csík Ferenc Általános Iskola és Gimnázium falán található. A felirat így szól: "Medve utca. Nevét az utca egykori 2. számú házán elhelyezett diót majszoló medve szoborról kapta."
Paddington és Mása medvéje a sarkon
Kolodko Mihály egy újabb miniszobra a Medve és a Vitéz utca sarkán kapott helyet 2024-ben. A szobor a rajzfilmsorozat főhősét, Paddington macit ábrázolja. A kis medve a szokásos esőkabátjában és sapkájában ücsörög, nem máson, mint a Mása és a medve című mese két címszereplőjéből az utóbbin, a medvén.

Animal heroes in the city 16.
English:
Every nation raise a memorial his outstanding persons, his heroes. This is all right, but how can animals deserve statues? Of course I’m not thinking those „who’s“ taking their job, eg. a saddle-horse or the guardian lions of the Parlament. I speak about those lucky ones whom have their own memorials. As we know (?), in the Second World War 54 animals got the Dickin Medal for their heroical acts, which is the equal honours as the Victoria Cross. Why not we could stand a statue for the worthy ones?

Bears in Medve street
Bear on the school wall
The cute little bear is on the wall of the Csík Ferenc Primary and Secondary School. The inscription means: 'Medve (Bear) street. Named after the former sculpture of a bear nibbling walnut which was placed on the street’s no. 2 house.'
Paddington and Masha's bear on the corner
Another mini-sculpture by Mihály Kolodko was placed on the corner of Medve and Vitéz Streets in 2024. The sculpture depicts the main character of the cartoon series, Paddington Bear. The little bear is sitting in his usual raincoat and hat, on none other than the latter of the two title characters of the fairy tale Masha and the Bear, the bear.
