Haverigg is a lovely place to come and enjoy the clean beach. There are two large caravan parks one of which is also used by tourers. There are also a couple of pubs if you fancy a nice meal and a good pint. Free carparking is available in the village and around to the beach where a free car park is also available.
Wildlife by the bucket with the Hodbarrow RSPB nature reserve right on the doorstep. Fishing, boating and water skiing all takes part here. Plenty of walks and fresh air makes Haverigg a super place to visit and to come back to. The Haverigg Inshore Rescue boat is launched from here if needed. Haverigg also comes with it’s own little harbour and the gentle River Lazy running by. Whether it is cricket, football or rugby that floats your boat, it is all here for your enjoyment and a social side ready just to join in with, you will always be made welcome. Sitting on the beach just by the Inshore Rescue station is a sculpture by Josefina de Vasconcellos. It is a symbolic work, featuring a human form escaping from the jaws of a sea dragon, dedicated to Inshore Rescue Teams throughout the United Kingdom. So you can retrieve the cache sit back and enjoy this lovely environment. Due to the probability that this has been muggled. I have replaced it with another cache only better hid. I have replaced this with a bison cache with a few little silver charms for anyone who wants one. It is a BYOP.
