I meant to place a cache last year for my “big birthday”, but was so busy exploring the new world of seniors’ discounts, that the event came & went without a cache. One year later, it’s time to start counting backwards, which means that big birthday +1 -1 equals big birthday again.
So, off to my favourite place......the Waterford Heritage Trail, which can only be described as TOTALLY AWESOME!! Thanks to Terry Bonnett and his committee, this former rail line has been transformed into a top-class cycling/hiking trail, linking Port Dover to Brantford and the Trans Canada Trail. With the snow being knee-deep in some places, cycling isn’t the best option for winter, so my winter mode of transport is Xcountry skis.
I know of one fearless cacher who shares my birthday. To him and any others, many happy returns, and happy caching.
