Located close to one of Melbourne's busiest residential and cafe areas, The Jewell In Our Crown should be an easy find that I've designed for those that want to have a go at solving what might be their first multi cache. It's only got a single set of additional coordinates for you to figure out before you get to the final location (a *very* short walk from the published coordinates) - easy! If you've already got your multi-cache wings it'll be a "walk in the park", for sure. To try and maintain a wee bit of difficulty, though, this is an extremely high muggle area, especially during rush hour (both morning and evening). It's also a nano-cache - one of the smallest (if not the THE smallest) types available. I've also just raised the difficulty from 2 to 2.5 simply because the first attempt was a DNF. Please note that once you've figured out the coordinates for GZ there is *NO* need to crawl anywhere or even go further than a slight stoop to retrieve the cache. That's probably a pretty major hint in itself ... hehe. Thanks to pwags for recommending that I add that note - I should've added it when the cache was published. Anyway, maybe it's trickier than I thought ...
Overall this is a very accessible location that you could grab on your way home, especially if you travel by train. Please note that there's also no need to climb on the platform or even enter any part of the train platform/station in order to retrieve this cache.
All parts of the answer can be answered by reading the bottom 3 lines on the sign that should be next to you at the published coordinates. The bottom 3 lines are those with the black coloured background i.e. ignore the parts that say PT, Metro, Jewell and Station.
Part 1: You can get to the city from platform 1 via what? A = the number of letters in this word.
Part 2: BC = the number of alphabetic characters on the second line (no numbers, spaces or special characters).
Part 3: DEF = ((Australia's emergency telephone number) + 241).
The final coordinates are as follows:
S 37° 46.(E)(C)(B+2) E 144° 57.(D+3)(F+1)(A)

I know it's tempting to find a cache and not sign the log (e.g. because your pen wasn't working or because you couldn't physically get to it) but please please please make sure you sign the log for this one. The geocaching.com physical cache guidelines say you can only log a cache as found once you've physically signed the log and, as a result, found logs without a corresponding logbook entry may be deleted ... sorry.
