Jenny-Springers "The Moors" Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MrCJDL: Apologies for the delay, catching up on maintenance this evening... this one was my first visit and it's been muggled again, so unfortunately I've decided to archive this one. Thanks to everyone for the great logs over the years, hope you all enjoyed your visit. Perhaps I'll revive this one in a different format nearby.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Jenny-Springers "The Moors" !

Jenny-Springer is a bonkers Springer-Spaniel, it was because of her I discovered Geocaching - and we both love it, so I named all of my caches after her. Jenny and her owner go walkies up around the Drumclog Moors and surrounding woodland almost every day... she loves bouncing around and exploring the woods, paths, and whatever else she can find!

A nice wee spot on Drumclog Moor, you can sit and have lunch here if it's not too windy, and check out the views of the Kilpatricks. Also, if you stick around for a wee while, you'll likely see some deer wandering by

This cache is very close to the West Highland Way (GZ is around 200ft from the main path), so should be fairly easy to get to. Cache is well hidden and may take a little hunting around, wear boots/wellies if raining as it can get pretty muddy !

This area is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Please ensure you stick to the existing paths and do no damage any of the surrounding trees, heather or marshland

Cache is a small sized lock n lock container, with cache note/log in waterproof bag, bring your own pen - most small Geoswag & trackable items will fit in cache.

Parking: Recommended parking area is Drumclog Moor Car park (see waypoint)

This can be busy at weekends, so alternative parking spots are at Milngavie Town Centre, Iron Bridge Car park on Clober Road, or limited parking at Cloberfield Industrial Estate.

Cache is around 1.0 miles from either Milngavie, or Drumclog Moor waypoint.

Spoiler Alert:Additional clue in photos.

Enjoy, and happy caching !
