Lonica (1124 m elev.) is not the highest or the broadest hill of Notranjska, nor the one with the best views, but is a pleasant combination of all these attributes.
It takes about an hour walk from the suggested parking place to the top, following a well marked trail - follow the sign to Sv. Trojica, which is a church on a slightly lower second peak of Lonica. It takes about 15 minutes walk from the church to the top of Lonica.
To reach the suggested parking place split from the main road in Pivka following a sign to a village Trnje and proceed in the same direction on a well maintained gravel road, following the signs to Sv. Trojica. Alternative approaches are possible too, check also the description of GC2G43G and links below.
The cache is a 0.9 litre plastic container, almost a regular but not quite.

Lonica (1124 m) ni najvišji notranjski hrib. Primat gre belemu Snežniku. Lonica ni najbolj razgleden notranjski hrib. Prvak je Nanos. Lonica ni najbolj plečat notranjski hrib. To je Vremščica. Lonica ni ... je pa posrečena kombinacija vsega naštetega. ("izposojeno" od S53X)
Od parkiršča do vrha je kakšna ura hoje po dobro označeni planinski poti. Kažipoti vodijo do Sv. Trojice, ki je cerkvica na malo nižjem drugem vrhu Lonice.
