Simply Paul: A careful daylight hunt for this yesterday produced the same results as the night search the other week so it's definitely gone. A real shame after well over 11 years of service, but these things happen. For every cache there's an end of the line - be it long or short - and today we say goodbye to this one. Thanks to everyone who found it and looked after it over the years.

Geocache Description:

This cache was placed as part of a BBC Sports News filming piece by Mike Bushell. It is a medium sized clip lock plastic container. The cache has a picture of Mike Bushell on the lid.

Set in the Chiltern Hills, close to the the Coombe Hill Monument. Mike Bushell spent a day filming, the sport of geocaching, for a piece on the BBC Sports News. Part of the filming Mike placed this cache near to the site of the England's oldest geocache, GC171 View from Coombe Hill, which was listed on January 14th 2001. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2ybSDOcExU This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.
