About SideTracked
We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy and even Village Vexation. Now a series for public transport users! SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick cache-and-dashes at train stations.

History
The Birmingham to Wolverhampton Midland Metro Line One at 12.5 miles long, opened on 31 May 1999. Some of the line follows the disused Great Western Railway track bed form Birmingham Snow Hill as far as Priestfield, and then continues along Bilston Road, terminating at Wolverhampton St Georges in Bilston Road, Wolverhampton city centre.

Services
Midland Metro Line One. operates sixteen articulated two-section trams, which were built in Italy by Ansaldobreda. There are proposals to replace this rolling stock. Operated by Altram/Travel Midland Metro (National Express), and owned by West Midlands Passenger Transport Authority. The Metro timetable has a 6-8 minute frequency Monday - Saturday daytimes. The last through tram on a Saturday night from Birmingham and from Wolverhampton depart at midnight. Trams take 35 minutes to complete the entire route, there being no limited stop services. There is an additional service from Wednesbury Parkway at the start of the day to Wolverhampton and Birmingham. At the end of the day there is an additional service from Birmingham and Wolverhampton to Wednesbury Parkway. Near to Wednesbury Parkway is the maintenance depot.

West Bromwich Central
The town's main shopping malls are opposite the tram stop, along with the town's main bus station. Also near by is the present home of the Jubilee Arts founded by Sylvia King in 1974, which is now housed in THEpUBLIC, and works with various community art groups on creative projects. The present building commenced construction in 2004, the project has been commended for its “exciting & vibrant lighting scheme”, although The Observer, Sunday 25 June 2006, described it as a “giant, magenta-and-black fish tank”. THEpUBLIC is an easy walk from this metro stop.
The cache is placed near the Metro Stop.
