Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of presidential caches.

These caches will come in a variety of sizes, difficulties and terrains. They will be placed all across the area. Hopefully everyone will enjoy finding them.

Abraham Lincoln was the sixteenth U.S. president. He was born on February 12, 1809 in a one room cabin in Kentucky. He died on On the April 15, 1865. He was president from March 4, 1861 until April 15, 1865. He was affiliated with the Republican party. Lincoln is generally considered to be one of the greatest presidents in U.S. history. He saved the Union by winning the Civil War, and he freed the slaves. His accomplishments are too numerous to mention here. He won reelection in 1864, but became the first president to be assassinated shortly after his second inauguration.

This cache should be fairly easy to find. It is an ammo box hidden in a common way. There is one small obstacle on the route to the cache, a very small stream that must be crossed. Other than that the trip is fairly easy, but could be a little tough if the snow gets deep.

Have fun with the series, and good luck. This will be the last one, at least for now. Oh, by the way, there are a couple of Lincoln related souveniers for FTF.

NOTE: This cache is on state game lands, so be sure to where orange during hunting season.
