This is the ninth in the Thomas the Tank Engine series. If coming from Gordon, getting to this cache involves crossing a very busy road TAKE CARE!
The area is VERY BUSY with dog walkers please tuck the cache well back once finding.
Edward is an older engine and extremely kind: kind to small engines who get into difficulties: kind to big engines when they're rude or impatient: kind to trucks and coaches which he almost never bumps.
The series comprises of 11 traditional caches and 1 Bonus cache on a circular walk of 5 miles along well marked public footpaths and roads around the Allesley, Coundon & Brownshill Green areas of Coventry.
The clues for the bonus cache are located on the back of the log books in SOME of the series. All caches are located within 20 feet of Public footpaths. Suggested start and finish for the series is in the car park at N 52° 26.493 W 001° 33.116
Some of the caches intersect the Peppa Pig Trail (visit link) and the George Pig Trail (visit link) Both excellent series! Also, between this cache and Duke why not take in Coundon Wedger. (visit link)
