A simple cache in one almost unknown
place in Oeiras... After all, Sintra is not only the one that have
famous Queijadas. Once more, Portuguese History is surprising...
A HISTORIA DAS QUEIJADAS DE OEIRAS. As Queijadas de Oeiras assenta
em antigas tradições, conjugadas com a Modernidade, reavivar a
imagem da Ruralidade, tão forte no País e em particular na história
do Concelho de Oeiras. As Queijadas de Oeiras rentabiliza os
valores imateriais, feitos de imagens, memórias e sabores
intemporais procurando através delas valorizar a Tradição. Ou não
seja a Tradição, mais do que um sinal do passado a forma como
queremos ser lembrados no futuro. E estas são também as razões de
se sentir tão bem no Centro Histórico de Oeiras, beneficiando da
história, da escala, da dimensão e dos valores de vizinhança ali
tão presentes. Entre um grande leque queijadas de produção
artesanal, encontram-se os históricos com 250 anos de presença no
concelho, tudo receitas provenientes da descendência do Marquês de
Pombal, Marquês de Oeiras!! (Agradeço ao responsável pelas

THE HISTORY OF QUEIJADAS DE OEIRAS. The Queijadas Oeiras is based
on ancient traditions, combined with Modernity, revive the image of
rurality, so strong in the country, and particularly in the history
of the Oeiras council. The Queijadas de Oeiras monetizes immaterial
values, made of images, flavors and timeless memories looking
through them valuing tradition. Tradition or not, more than one
sign of the past how we want to be remembered in future. And these
are also the reasons to feel so well in Historic Centre of Oeiras,
benefiting from history, scale, the dimention of the neighborhood
values as there present. Among a wide range of production hand made
Queijadas, are the historic of 250 year presence in the county, all
revenue from the descendants of the Marquis of Pombal, Marquis de
Oeiras! (Thanks to Queijadas responsible for the story came around
this place)
