ACT 1000 Club No. 3 Mystery Cache
Sol de lune: Time for this series to go. With the advent of the ‘power trail’, the goal of finding 1000 caches can now be achieved over a good weekend. With that in mind, coupled with the fact that not all cachers stats are available to be found, the relevance of the series is diminished.
Thanks to all found who the cache, which has now been collected and removed…

FarmerFrentzen,
SW2092,
and BigON (pronounced Big Owen)
To find the cache, which is located at South 35 21.ABC & East 149 08.DEF, all you need do is answer a question about the new club members 1000th find. To assist you make the calculation, there is a small clue with each description. Also, each log states that the cache is number 1000. Ok, lets see how you go...... __________________________________________
mr roo = C Mr roo’s 1000th find was achieved in November 09 and was made outside the ACT. The cache has an interesting name and was a gimme for mr roo to find, hence his decision to make it his 1000th. C = The only number in the GC number

Zsazsa7 = B Or ZZ7 as he is better/sometimes known, made his 1000th find sometime just before Christmas 09, and of course, it was somewhere in the world. (I only wish I knew where…..) B = The second number in GC number.
_________________________________________
SW2092 = A Another 1000th find that was NOT within the ACT. And it wasn’t in NSW, or Australia. The southern hemisphere doesn’t get the nod either, as the cache location for this cache is north of the equator. (As an added hint, fitzy and I found this cache sometime in August 2010) The cache in question has a sporting type background. A = the day of the month SW2092 made his find, divided by 2
_________________________________________
BigON = D A 1000th find that was completed on a day when many many others were also found. To find number 1000, check his finds for 20 Sep 09. D = The first number in the GC number
__________________________________________
Growingupisoptional (GUIO) = F GUIO’s 1000th find was also made in September 09……..and I guess the cache could be called an old one….in fact they don’t get any older in Australia than this one. F = The only number in the GC number

FarmerFrentzen = E Although no longer a resident of the ACT, FF was living here when cache number 1000 was found. As he still works here a couple of days a week, I have included him in this listing. His 1000th find was made on 17 Oct 09. Now, you may think that will help you narrow down which cache it was, but when you discovered that on that particular day he actually found a total of 210 caches, you will soon see that you need to check a few entries to grab the right one. Again, it’s noted in the log that it was number 1000.
To calculate E, XY = the day of the month the 1000th cache was PLACED, added together. e.g. 27th = 2+7=9
