El Merendero en Quebradillas, PR está ubicado sobre la Zona del Karso, y es un importante habitat para varias especies. Es un buen lugar para caminar por sus senderos rodeados de la naturaleza, y también para pasarla bien con su Familia.
Las coordenadas dadas, N 18° 28.657' y W 66° 56.301', no son las del lugar en el que se encuentra el cache ubicado en el Merendero, sino las del lugar en el que se encuentra la palabra que se necesita para completar las coordenadas del cache, N 18° $=.364' y W 66° !%.997'. El lugar donde se encuentra la palabra clave es un monumento ubicado en el estacionamiento de la Cancha Pedro Hernández en Quebradillas. Ese monumento tiene un asta con cuatro banderas, la última bandera de abajo es la que tiene la clave.
Para completar las coordenadas, utiliza las siguientes instrucciones para reemplazar los cuatros caracteres especiales ($=!%) utilizando la palabra clave que encontrarás en la estatua.
$ por la localización en el alfabeto hispano de la cuarta letra en la palabra clave.
= por la localización en el alfabeto hispano de la octava letra en la palabra clave.
! por la localización en el alfabeto hispano de la tercera letra en la palabra clave.
% por la localización en el alfabeto hispano de la primera letra en la palabra clave menos el número del total de letras en la palabra que encontraste.
Recuerda que el alfabeto tiene un total de 27 letras.

Reemplacé el cache por un nuevo micro-cache camuflado. Al momento de colocar el cache no había hormigueros en el área del GZ, pero se han formado algunos hormigueros recientemente, así que tengan cuidado. Por favor, BYOP y asegúrate de cuidadosamente esconder el cache. ¡Feliz Geocaching!

El Merendero in Quebradillas, PR is located on what is known as La Zona del Karso, and it is a very important habitat for several species. It is a nice place to walk through its trails surrounded by nature, and it is also a nice place to have a good time with your Family. Due to the conditions of the terrain, be cautious when looking for the geocache.
The given coordinates, N 18° 28.657' and W 66° 56.301', are not the ones where the cache is located, but the ones of the location of the monument that has the key word needed to complete the coordinates of the cache, N 18° $=.364' and W 66° !%.997'. The location of the monument is in the parking of Cancha Pedro Hernández in Quebradillas. This munument has four flags, and the last flag at the bottom is the one with the key word.

I replaced this cache with a camouflaged new micro-cache. When the cache was originally placed there were no anthills nearby, but recently some anthills have formed, be careful. Please, BYOP and make sure to carefully hide the cache. Happy Geocaching!
