Geocache Description:

Small screw top cache Log book only, bring your own Pen. (Be carefull with small children near the Busy Road and watch out for muggles)

After leaving Father Christmas and being pursued by wolves led by Maugrim, the group crosses a thawing river, leaving the Witch unable to reach them. Arriving at Aslan's camp, they encounters Aslan. Wood nymphs were present at Aslan's camp playing harps upon the arrival of the Pevensies and the Beavers.
Aslan promises to help Edmund in any way he can. Later, two wolves ambush Lucy and Susan while they are frolicking by the river. When Peter intervenes Maugrim attacks him and Peter kills him with his sword. Some of Aslan's troops follow the other wolf to the witch's camp and rescue Edmund. The great battle took place the next day.

In Our world –
Other battle took place here as noted on a bronze plaque nearby commemorating rugby football being first played in Cranmer Square by the Christchurch Football Club in 1863.

Protestant martyrs
In 1555 Mary I, a Roman Catholic, ordered three of the leading Protestant bishops, Cranmer, Latimer and Ridley, to be burned at the stake. These men were the first of the Protestant martyrs in England, who died because of their religious beliefs. Three of the squares in Christchurch were supposed to be named after them, but Ridley Square became Cathedral Square instead.
