We weren't exactly planning to place this cache... But as we were walking along the track towards McKenzie Bay and the lighthouse we thought about creating a slightly more challenging cache.
But what to use for the cache container? We didn't exactly come prepared to place a cache. We had logbooks and bags, in case any cache we encountered needed some basic maintenance, but what to use as the container...
Well, that's where the lunchbox came in. Having finished most of my lunch near the lighthouse, we thought this will do the job nicely (it is a 2L sistema after all). We hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed my lunch.
Unfortunately the cache is rather devoid of swap items because we simply didn't have anything suitable to leave behind, but it does have a double bagged logbook and a pen.
The terrain is loose and rocky so please be very careful. Perhaps not a good one for accident prone cachers.
