Designed to be kid-friendly, this is a not-too-tough walk through some beautiful paths, then a bushwhacking scramble up a quite steep hill. Enjoy our first cache!
This is our first attempt to hide a cache. We hope you can find it!
We are an older-than-he-feels man and his two children: Hadley (age 7) and Hayes (age 5). The Hunt Sanctuary is named after an old family friend, and we hope you take the time to enjoy the trails. Take the blue trail to the old house foundation, then you're on your own. The hike should not be too strenuous (a 5 year old and 7 year old were able to handle it easily) except for the last bushwhacking part up the hill (but even that the 5 and 7 year old could handle). Enjoy the massive rock formations along the paths, and imagine the forces at work to create them and then to shatter them the way you see here.
The cache is a square tupperware container with NYC subway notepad, a mechanical pencil and some goodies (mostly for kids).
