CSI: Who-ville Mystery Cache

It was past dark-thirty when a glass tree ornament rolled into little Cindy Lou Who's bedroom, awakening her. Rubbing sleep from her eyes she picked up the ornament and entered the family's living room to find an intruder dressed as Santa Claus attempting to push their Christmas tree up the chimney. "Why," she enquired, "why are you taking our tree? Why?"

The red and white clad figure replied, there was a burnt out lightbulb on the tree, on one side, and he was taking it back to his work shop to effect repairs. With that, he sent her back to bed with a glass of water and proceded to clear out.
