Geocache Description:

Easy access by foot or by car. Naturally the given coordinates are not the actual location.

Basketball had its magic and Michael, baseball had its Mays, Mantle and Maris, football has its Montana and Mannings, but only hockey had its Big "M". This is a simple puzzle for you oldie goldies.
An under appreciated super star in a hockey-mad city in a hockey-mad country, he had several good , but not great, years in Toronto. However, the fans and a martinet coach drove him to a nervous breakdown and eventually out of Toronto where he had been a member of four Stanley Cup winning teams. Traded to Detroit where he got to play with the great Gordie Howe, he had some memorable years in scoring. After a couple of outstanding years with Detroit he was traded to Montreal where he was once again teamed up with another legend...the great Jean Beliveau. He again shone and led the Canadiens to another of their many championships ,this time as the leading scorer in the playoffs. He continued in pro hockey well into his late thirties.
One of the truly talented and classy players of his era in the Original Six NHL, he now serves as a senator in Ottawa (not as an Ottawa Senator of course).
