Geocache Description:

Another in the series of historical burial sites.
Small camo'd container, this area is still public. Beyond the cedars is the old baseball diamond now derilect. We used to bring our dogs here years ago to play in the creek, and then run around to get dry, there used to be picnic tables down there by the creek too,

Lieutenant Colonel Arthur C Pratt, MPP 1905-1914 is considered the Father of Reforestation, as he was instrumental in establishing St.Williams in 1908 as the first reforestation project in Canada. Together,MPP Pratt, lumberman and sawyer Walter McCall and Dr. EJ Zavitz of the Ontario Agricultural College planted the first trees in St. Williams.

MPP Pratt is buried by Dedrick's Creek at the St. Williams Forestry Station. To the north and west of his grave are Red Oak, White Pine, and Maples.
Described on his tombstone are the words:
"My Memorial - Look Around You"
