Located near a planned new trail in Sylvan Glen Town Park in Yorktown. This cache involves some off trail travel in a potentially hazardous area.
The flagged route leading to the cache area can be found off the east side of the Blue Trail, just above the lookout at the top of the quarry. The shortest access is from the end of Quarry Road, although it could also be reached from the main parking lot at the end of Morris Lane, off of Lexington Avenue.
The cache is a brown plastic container with a white top, and has a few maps and other items. The cache area is above a steep slope and near a disused quarry, so use caution in your approach, trying to use the marked routes as much as possible.
