Geocache Description:

This is the start of a series of caches around Norfolk County. Being a history buff myself,
I hope you enjoy this one and the ones to come.
A grab and go, but take time to see some of the history here.
FTF: coffee on me..as usual!

This country church was founded in 1800 (or a few years earlier)a couple of miles from Lake Erie. It celebrated its 200th Anniversary in 2000.
Many of the trustees of Woodhouse Church were United Empire Loyalists, and the old graveyard to the south of the church is scattered with UELS and their descendants.
You may see many local names that you will recognize; this is one of the larger of the old cemeteries.
