Geocache Description:

Podul Stefan cel Mare peste canalul Bega, pornind de la Gara de Nord pe Bulevardul Gen. Ion Dragalina, a fost construit in 1890 dupa proiectul ing. Robert Toth de la Fabrica de Poduri a Uzinelor din Resita. A fost primul pod rutier public construit din otel turnat. Actualul pod a fost construit in 1956, din beton armat.
