O Museu Rainha Dona Leonor ou Museu Regional de Beja é um museu em
Beja, Portugal, instalado no Convento da Conceição. O Convento foi
fundado em 1459, pelo Infante D. Fernando, irmão de D. Afonso V, e
por sua mulher, a Infanta D. Beatriz. Este convento era bastante
amplo, mas muito tempo depois sofreu a demolição de uma parte.
Hoje o museu tem vários espaços principais para visitar: o Coro
Baixo, a Igreja, a Sala dos Brasões, as 4 quadras (Corredores) do
Claustro, as 2 saletas e as 3 salas com bonitas pinturas, a Sala do
Capítulo (incluindo o pequeno oratório no fundo da sala que
interrompe o único corredor de comunicação entre as salas que têm
pinturas).

The Queen Leonor Museum or Beja Regional Museum is a museum in
Beja, Portugal, located in the Convent of the Conception. The
monastery was founded in 1459 by Prince Fernando, brother of King
Afonso V, and his wife, the Infanta D. Beatriz. The convent was
quite broad, but long after he suffered the demolition of a
part.
Today the museum has several main areas to visit: the Low Choir,
the Church, the Hall of Arms, the four blocks (corridors) of the
Cloisters, the two living rooms and three rooms with beautiful
paintings, the Chapter Room (including small oratory in the back
that breaks the single connecting corridor between the rooms that
have paintings).
