Colline de Saint-Vincent

Au XVIIe Siècle, lors d'une visite à Heilly, alors que Vincent de Paul partait voir les moines de Saint-Laurent des Bois dans leur prieuré qui était situé au-delà de l'actuelle route D929, il rencontra sur son chemin deux chevaliers qui se battaient en duel. Il les sépara avec sa croix et parvint à les réconcilier.

Une croix fut érigée sur cette colline en 1617 puis, en 1897, une grotte en souvenir de Saint Vincent de Paul.

La cache :
Il s'agit d'une "micro".
Elle contient un logbook mais pas de stylo.
Vous pourrez loguer tranquillement dans ce petit coin très calme.

Here is a surprising site to discover!

In the XVIIth century, during a visit to Heilly, while Vincent de Paul was going to see the monks of Saint-Laurent des Bois in their Priory which was situated beyond the current D929, he met on his way two knights who fought a duel.
He parted them with his cross and managed to reconcile them.

A cross was erected on this hill in 1617 then in 1897, a cave in memory of
St. Vincent de Paul.

The cache:
This is a "micro".
It contains only the logbook. Take your pen.
You can log quietly in this very calm spot.
