Die Grotte
Zuerst geht bis zum Ende es Strandes. Vorbei am Schild "Hillside Settlement" weiter geradeaus am Strand. Ihr findet eine Stelle am Strand wo zwei Wege vom Strand wegführen, der linke versperrt mit einem Schild "Do not Enter..." führt hinauf zur Burgruine. Diese ist interessant zu entdecken aber direkt an der Klippe und völlig ungesichert. Besonders vorsichtig sein, wenn ihr das mit Kindern macht. Die erste Koordinate bezieht sich auf diese Wegvariante.Nach Besichtigung der Ruine müsst ihr weiter auf dem schwierigen Weg bergauf bis ihr den Hauptweg erreicht. Der Weg ist mit den zusaetzlichen angegebenen Wegpunkten gut zu finden (aber nicht markiert) und auch mit Kindern in ca 1,5 Stunden zu bewaeltigen.
Der rechte Weg führt erheblich leichter im Bogen den Hang hinauf.Egal wie ihr euch entscheidet kommt ihr nach einer Weile zu einer bekannten Kletterstelle. Erst führt Euch der Weg steil hinab und gleich wieder steil hinauf. Oben kann man sich leicht verlaufen. Der richtige Weg ist nicht die ausgetretene Stelle direkt an der Wand sondern der Weg leicht links.Eine weitere schwierige Stelle kommt nach der Überquerung des Gröllfeldes. Hier weiter zur Felswand orientieren. Die frei erhältlichen Open Source Wanderkarten für Garmin und Co enthalten den ganzen Weg und sind eine gute Hilfe.
In die Grotte faellt ausreichend Tageslicht, sodass Lampen nicht unbedingt nötig sind. Der Cache ist aber außerhalb der Höhle. Wenn kein Wellengang ist, kann man als guter Schwimmer von der Grotte aus gut baden gehen. Da aber die Felsen im Wasser sehr scharf sind, ist man mit Schwimmschuhen gut ausgerüstet.
Übernachtungstip: Wir sind zum dritten Mal in Olympos in der Zeus Pension (einfache Bungalows www.zeuspansiyon.com) und geniessen es sehr.
Die zusaetzlichen Wegpunkte sind wichtig um den Weg zu finden
Es gibt immer wieder Hinweise ob oder in wieweit der Weg für Kinder geeignet ist. Ich bin den Weg mehrfach mit Kindern gegangen. Falls die Kinder motiviert sind ist der Weg auch für 8- 10 jährige gut zu schaffen. Alle brauche aber festes Schuwerk. Falls es geregnet hat und die zu überwindenen Kletterstellen nass sind wird der Weg erhelblich schwieriger.

The Grotto
First, go to the end of it the beach. Passing the sign "Hillside Settlement" straight on the beach. You will find a place where two roads leading away from the beach, the left locked with a sign "Do not Enter ..." leads up to the castle ruins. This is interesting to discover but right on the cliff and completely unsecured. Be very careful if you do it with children. The first coordinate refers to this Way. </ P>
After visiting the ruins you have to continue along the difficult path uphill until you reach the main path. The path can be found with the additional specified waypoints good (but not selected) and can be mastered with children in about 1.5 hours each way. </ P>
The right direction is much easier in the bow up the slope. </ p>
No matter how you decide you come after a while to a known climbing location. At thias place the way leads you down to the bottom and again up. Above, you can easily get lost. The right way is slightly to the left and not directly on the wall along. </ P>
Another difficult point comes after crossing the Stone Field. Here progress along the rock wall. The Open Source freely available maps for Garmin and Co contain all the way and are a great help. </ P>
In the Grotto sufficient daylight falls, so that lamps are not absolutely necessary. The cache is, however, outside the cave. If there is no swell is, you can go a good swimmer from the Cave of swim well. However, as the rocks are very sharp in the water, you are well equipped with swimming shoes. </ P>

Additional Waypoints are important in order to find the way </ p>
There are always indications of whether, or to what extent the route is suitable for children. I have gone the way several times with children. If the children are motivated the way is in my opinion for 8- 10 years fine. But all need Firm footwear. If it has been raining and the rocks are wet, the way much more difficult. </ P>
