Puzzles can be
divided very clearly into one of two categories. There are those
you can solve - which can be great fun and fill a few moments with
amusement, and those you can’t solve - which
are stupid and you didn’t want to solve them
anyway.
This puzzle is a
little bit different to the previous ones in this series - you wont
be able to work out the final cache location before you set out.
You will need to find the essential elements of the location during
you quest,
The normal rules
apply - the coordinates at the top of the page are not where you
will find the cache and in this case don’t point to a good
parking place either.
The first stage in
finding this cache is to identify the location mentioned in the
title.
If you were to
approach this point from the West you would see two numbers
AB. If however your approach was from the East you would see
the numbers CD.
You now need to
take the Latitude of the place in the title and add . (CCC x B)
+ (ADC)
And at the same
time take A.B(C + C)D from the
Longitude.
Now go to the
co-ordinates you end up with.
At this point if
you look around you should find an old box - open the box - inside
is written a number EFGHIJKLMNO
To grab the prize
you must now go to N NE (N-F)E IBH W EEF EM GIM where you
will find a small tin about 7 cm dia by 4.5 cm
deep.
Easy isn’t
it!
Special thanks go to the National
Trust for kindly granting permission to place this cache on their
land.
