Tuff Puff Summit Traditional Cache

The Tuff Puff Summit Cache is located at the summit of the Tuff Puff Trail and at a prominent viewpoint along the ridge leading to the north summit of Whirlpool Ridge. The cache is located near a large rock near the Tuff Puff Summit. The trail leading to the cache is well maintained with a few roots and rocks that hikers need to be aware of in the area, and of course some elevation gain - perhaps 900 - 1000 metres from the trailhead.

The Tuff Puff Summit Cache is a regular sized square LnL type container with only a cache note, logbook, and pencils. The cache was placed at a fine viewpoint for Whirlpool Ridge, the well known peaks to the south along the North Saskatchewan River Valley, and the lesser known peaks to the north.
