Geocache Description:

Samuel Clemens (1835-1910), was born and died in years when Halley's Comet blazed across the sky. His pen name, Mark Twain, comes from a riverboat term which indicated water deep enough for safe passage: mark twain = two fathoms deep, or twelve feet. His novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is the most widely taught novel in American High Schools.

Park at the Lone Lake lot just off Bren Road at N 44° 53.913, W 93° 26.230.
