This cache is a memorial of Brandon Chamberlain who died Oct 2009.
He was a brother, son, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend. I
suppose you are wondering why the odd name for the memorial. This
saying was on one of his favorite shirts that featured the saying
right next to a Monkey and it fit his unique personality.
Collinwood Lake Park was near his home town and he enjoyed being in
the woods. He liked camping and deer hunting. While we were on a
hike looking for the perfect spot for this cache we ran into 4 deer
standing off the trail and thought this was the perfect location in
this big park. The spot we picked produced many fond memories and
has a nice view. We thought that hiding a geocache was a good way
to remember Brandon. He was very good with children and was always
playing around with them whether it be games, going to the park,
helping with sand castles, or a favorite...playing hide and seek in
the dark with flashlights outside, etc. we think this is another
activity he likely would have enjoyed.
First To Find Prize: New Unactivated Trackable Bug to be
used to create a memorial trackable of your own.
Good Luck!!!
