Geocache Description:

We are placing our first cache to celebrate our 100th find in just over a month of geocaching. This is a fairly easy multi-cache placed in the little known Dr. Claude V Williams Woodlot located in the Park area of Georgetown.

This is a three stage multi-cache. The best access to this woodlot is off Princess Anne Dr. The listed coordinates are for the entrance to the parking area. Stage One will involve some gathering of information and math to establish the first set of coordinates. Stage Two coordinates will be revealed by your calculations at Stage One. Stage Three coordinates will be revealed by finding Stage Two.

Stage One

At the entrance to the parking area is a bright yellow “Pedestrian Crossing Ahead” sign. On the back of this sign is an installation sticker. On this sticker is a 10 digit phone number. You will need this phone number to calculate the coordinates of a hidden micro. Each number will correspond to the letter listed below it.

The North coordinates are calculated as follows:

(( A x D ) + E + F ) / 1000 = 0 . 0 _ _

The West coordinates are calculated as follows:

(( A x E ) + C + G) / 1000 = 0 . 0 _ _

Now add these answers to the decimal minutes of both the original north and west parking entrance coordinates. Your new coordinates are:

N 43 3 8 . _ _ _ and W 079 5 5 . _ _ _

Stage Two

Time for the hunt. You will want to enter the woodlot on the east side of the parking area. It looks thick from the outside but opens up nicely once inside. You are looking for a brown micro watertight match container located at the coordinates you calculated in Stage One. Inside this micro are the coordinates for the Stage Three – The Final

Stage Three – The Final

You are looking for a 2” x 5” x 8” camoed lock & lock container. Inside you will find a log book, pen, some trinkets and room for trackables. If you are having trouble with the coords due to the thick canopy of large pine trees and cedars, read the hints carefully, they will take you there!
