[LV] Meža ugunsdrošibas uzraudziba un ugunsgreku ierobežošana ir viena no Valsts meža dienesta publiskajam funkcijam. Ugunsapsardziba Valsts meža dienesta ir organizeta ta, lai pec iespejas atrak atklat un ierobežot meža ugunsgrekus visos mežos neatkarigi no ipašuma veida un piederibas. Lai sekmigi veiktu šo uzdevumu, pa visu valsti ir izveidots ugunsnoverošanas tornu un ugunsdzesibas staciju tikls. Pec Valsts meža dienesta (VMD) informacijas Latvijas teritorija atrodas 185 ugunsnoverošanas torni, no kuriem apmeram 30 ir dažadas rekonstrukciju stadijas.
Ugunsnedrošais periods 2009. gada (notiek dežuras ugunsnoverošanas tornos) tika noteikts no 27.aprila lidz 15.septembrim. 2010. gada tas sakas 28. aprili. Tas nozime, ka, lai mazinatu meža ugunsgreku izcelšanas iespejas, visiem iedzivotajiem no 28.aprila, uzturoties meža, ir noteikti atseviški aizliegumi un ierobežojumi, par kuru neieverošanu var piemerot sodu. Uzturoties mežos un purvos aizliegts: nomest degošus serkocinus, izsmekus vai citus gruzdošus priekšmetus; kurinat ugunskurus, iznemot atbilstoši ierikotas vietas; atstat ugunskurus bez uzraudzibas; dedzinat sadzives atkritumus un ciršanas atliekas; braukt ar mehaniskiem transportlidzekliem pa mežu un purviem arpus celiem; ekspluatet uz meža celiem transportlidzeklus un citus mehanismus bez dzirkstelu slapetajiem.
Šobrid, pec noverojumiem, konkretais tornis netiek aktivi izmantots (ugunsnedrošajam periodam vajadzetu beigties un Valstij trukst cilveku, ko nodarbinat šajos tornos), tapec problemam nevajadzetu rasties. Ja nu tomer mac šaubas, tad pec publiski pieejamas informacijas dežuras notiek darbadienas no 8:00-17:00.
Lai panemtu slepni augša naksies uzrapties, bet sarga budina iekša list gan nevajag. Nebusim mežoni.

[ENG] Forest fire patrol and fire restriction is one of the National Forest Service public functions. Fire protection in National Forest Service is organized to assure early detection and limit forest fires in all forests regardless of ownership type and nationality. In order to complete this task successfully, there are fire watch towers and fire stations all over the country. According to the State Forest Service (SFS) information there are 185 fire watch towers located in Latvia and approximately 30 of them are in different reconstruction stages.
At the present it seems that the this specific tower is not actively used (since the fire hazard period is basically over and there are lack of people to employ on those towers), so no problem should arise.
In order to get the cache you have to climb up, but don't try to get in booth on the top - it is prohibited! I hope you will be able to enjoy the view from the top!
N.B. There's locked section of the stairs - you will have to find a way to get by it!
